    Hi Brett,

I'm having the same issue with MainStage 3 which i have purchased a week ago. Been trying everything to get the basic content downloaded on my mac. I have checked the link you posted above but i don't know where i could find that Additional Content Window. MainStage won't open properly not until it downloaded the basic content successfully.

    Any advise?

    hi Art of Sound,

The first time you open Mainstage3 after successful installation done by appstore, it will bring you to a window where it starts downloading the basic content (about 1.80 GB). Right after it reaches 1.80 GB, mainstage will say an error about internet connection and will ask you to try again later. If you fail to download the basic content, then there's no way mainstage will run.

Anyway, after reading loads of posted threads here, I followed one advise which is backing up my files and installing clean OS X. Mainstage3 installed and downloaded the basic content and additional content without a single error. I guess it's about the OS, maybe i did something ***pid unknowlingly lol.

    Cheers guys.
