iOS AppStore downloads don't work on home network

Since I have installed iOS 8, none of our family's devices can download from the AppStore on our home network, they work fine on cellular or other WiFi networks, but not ours. Progress circle appears but never actually starts. Reseting network settings or a reboot doesn't work. Turning WiFi off, initiating the download, then turning WiFi back on works, but how can I fix it?
