Q: Apple ID keeps changing people

My Apple ID apparently seems to be linked to the BILLING ADDRESS of any credit card you use.    I use my husbands card and once I change the billing address it also changes my account name to his, and then it looks like fraud and the card then declines everything.  Short of using my own card is there a fix?  My account my name address, etc then billing linked not to that?

    Howdy windul,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

From what I gather, you’re running into an iTunes Store billing issue that’s related to the credit card information that you’re entering. Take a look at the article linked below, it outlines Family Sharing which will allow everyone in the family to bill purchases to the family organizer’s account.

Making purchases is easy. So is setting limits.

All new iTunes, iBooks, and App Store purchases initiated by family members will be billed to the family organizer’s account. But the organizer can still call the shots. Just turn on Ask to Buy for children in the family. When a child initiates a purchase, an alert is sent to the organizer, who can review the item and approve or decline it right from the organizer’s device. This applies to both purchases and free downloads.
