I am trying to down load an app on my iphone5s and I am getting this message "you need to update your account with iTunes desktop" "Aol accounts are no longer supported and need updating via iTunes desktop." I went to iTunes on my desktop. logged into my account and everything looks fine. I logged into Apple.com and my id and password is all fine. What am I missing here?

If you are using an AOL username as your id then when you log into the account via the Store > View Account menu option you should be prompted to change it to an Apple id, from 31st March you will no longer be able to use an AOL username : Convert your AOL Username to an Apple ID - Apple Support
I had the same issue and was able to resole it by deleting the app and re-installing it. It appears to be an issue with the app update including the touch ID feature.
