Nov 13, 2015 12:36 AM in response to Artfuldodger1960by AbWeb,I have been trying to figure out for quite a while why my JBL40BT headphones would no longer connect to my MacBook Air and FINALLY found the answer thanks to Gary Coyne (http://www.technologytell.com/apple/139209/jbl-synchros-e50bt-ear-e40bt-ear-wire less-headphones-review/).
Apparently the headphones try to pair with the device they were previously paired with (in my case, my iPhone 6) and "ignore" other devices in the process. In order to avoid this and successfully pair with the Mac, you need to turn the Bluetooth on your phone off (or whatever device you have previously paired with) or set it to Airplane Mode until you have successfully paired with the Mac. I tried this as soon as I read the article and it absolutely worked.
I'm sure you've figured it out on your own at this point but thought I would pass along the info anyways!

Jun 27, 2016 12:36 PM in response to Artfuldodger1960by Nillebs,I Don't have a Mac, but iPhone 6 and iPad Air.
While my headphones connect without issues to my laptop, a Lenovo, I have to tick "forget this device" every time on my Apple products. Also if they are not in a near vicinity to each other.
