Safari is frozen....won't let me exit out of any window

My Mac book pro is about 4 weeks old. I realize I am in a huge learning curve but have had absolutely no issues until now. I was searching in safari and it will not let me exit out. I get the message ...."Safari interupted restart" while trying to restart from the apple drop down box. Help please !,,,,,

Force quit Safari. Command Option Escape keys together. Then choose Safari from the menu window. Or control click the icon in the Dock then hold the alt key Option Key and choose force quit. Or open Activity Monitor type safari into the search field then select and click the cross button in the top right hand of the window menu.

Hope this helps.
