Unable to Install iTunes - error 0x80070091

I was using iTunes fine, no problems. One day, the automatic update ran and was unable to complete. After that, I was unable to open iTunes.


I followed these instructions to remove it:

Then, I attempted to reinstall and am getting error 0x80070091

User uploaded file


Any advice?

After reviewing your post, it sounds like an update failed and now iTunes wont launch. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
