Q: Customizing top left side menubar of the screen

Is there a way to customize the menubar on the top left side of the screen? Sometimes it gets too long, and I don't even use them.

MacBook (13-inch Mid 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

The menu bar on the top left side of what screen? An app? A browser - if so, what browser? And not sure what you mean when you state "Sometimes it gets too long"....

If you are talking about this Forum - and the difference between these two things - then yes it is easy

⌘ Command + ' 0 ' = Browser & website natural state
⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + ' + ' = 1 magnification bigger (each time)
⌘ Command + ⇧ Shift + ' - ' = 1 magnification smaller (each time)

season to taste...

Lets say, for example, you switch task to google chrome, and it gives u a whole lot of menu options, such as: file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, window, people, and help. Now, lets say, for example, you don't want the menu of bookmarks, because you don't use it. Is there a way to remove it?

This area is NOT customizable
This area IS (see your [Help] menu for specific Browser instructions)
The above is Drag & Drop = typical Firefox or any robust browser
