Ipod Touch 5th Generation is not allowing me to download music

I recently bought an Ipod off Ebay that was used. I can download apps and everything - and every function on it works perfectly. But when I try to download music off Itunes on my computer or if I try to turn on automatic downloads for music in my Ipod's settings the device says that it cannot be associated with another account for 69 days. I have tried restoring it multiple times - there is nowhere to log out of any other account in the Ipod - and the seller has no idea what to do and says he/she has never encountered this problem before. Is there anyway to fix this short of waiting the 69 days?
