Syncing Music From iPhone to iTunes

I would like to move digital content from my iPhone 5s to my laptops using its newly downloaded iTunes.

The problem is I can't find how to move content from my phone to iTunes without their being deleted from the phone.

So far every other discussion I've seen has been about managing content moved from iTunes to the phone, but I'm trying to move old content from the phone into iTunes.

Can anyone help?

Content is not moved to iTunes from the iPhone. Syncing with iTunes is only done one way, iTunes to iPhone. If you have content on your iPhone that is not in your iTunes library, an it is not content purchased from iTunes, you will need to get a 3rd party software application to get the music off the phone and into iTunes.
