My iPod won't activate. What do I do?

I am having the same problem. I have tried different cords and ports and my Ipod doesn't appear at all. It says there is no device connected

So a totally different issue then? The post is about a device that won't activate (with no detail as to what the OP means). What is it that you are asking? Best to start a new thread instead of putting an unrelated question on an existing one.
