MacBook Air 2013 13" late 2013
While turnig it off last night, the laptop took a while to turn off. Then this morning, the while logging on it was loading my user after I put my password in and then it suddently in the status bar it showed "safe boot" and continued to log in.
I restarted the Mac and it loaded fine this time.
Does anyone know why this happened?

Startup information is stored in PRAM. Resetting PRAM may resolve the issue.
Another possibility is that disk may need a repair. Repairing disk should solve the problem.

An unexpected safe boot can happen when a wireless keyboard is turned off, or in power-saving mode, at startup. If you're using an Apple wireless keyboard, press the button on the side to wake it up before pressing the power button on the Mac.
