My iPod nano has locked up with connectd eject before disconnecting
IiPod nano needs resetting it's locked up with connected eject before disconnecting but the computer does not recognise it

It seems your iPod will not respond when plugged in or otherwise. You may want to consider restoring it to factory settings:
