When in iCal I want to add attachments such as PDFs to the event. How do I do this?

iPad Mini, iOS 8.1.3

Thanks for the question. Are you referring to Calendar in OS X? If so, check out this resource for information on adding attachments to events:

Note: while titled for Mavericks, the same steps apply in OS X Yosemite.
