I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on your exact configuration or intended application. If you are looking to configure or sync your Mail account information across multiple devices, you may want to look into the Internet Account sync function of iCloud Keychain and see if it will meet your needs. Mar 16, 2015 11:17 AM in response to brenden dvby hotwheels 22,hi brenden!
thanks for your help.
i read the links but there does not seem to be much there by way of explanation on how MAIL works in this scenario.
for instance, i have three devices (iPhone, laptop and desktop). and i have ten website based email accounts, two gmail account and a me.com account.
SOME of my internet accounts are working fine on the laptop but a lot are not working AT ALL on the desktop. i also know that i have SOME of the accounts hooked up on some of the computers meaning i am pretty sure i left off one account at least from one of my devices. the one that seems to work best is my iPhone since I HAVE TO CHECK MY IPHONE to get some of my mail since it does not show up on the laptop or the desktop (or one or the other).
what i mean to ask is if there is a way to SYNC all this info across devices...
can you suggest a way to get this to work better? mac mail requires like 30 options for EACH account and when you have 3 devices and 10 accounts this is VERY HARD to manage!
did they solve this very practical and extremely time consuming issue in yosemite?
