Q: How can I calibrate airprint?

i Have an iPhone 5 iOS 8.1.2.

I Just bought a Samsung all in one colour laser printer c460 series, it is airprint certified on apples website.

WHen I first brought it home and set it up I printed off two pictures from the Apple photos camera roll menu.

1 Hr later I get the error message "no air print printers found".

i Reviewed the manual for the printer and it made sure that I enabled the IPP protocol option

there is an ip adress shown here for the printer and I would like to make sure the iPhone is searching jn the right area but iphone does not show any info on this.

hopefully someone has suggestions for me

    Hey Toad_tyson,

There are a few things that you can try when trying to get your iPhone to print to the printer. Take a look at the troubleshooting below to walk you through some general troubleshooting to get it working.

    About AirPrint

    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201311

    If you're unable to print

Check these things if you are unable to print, or if you see the message "No AirPrint Printers Found."

    1. Make sure your printer has paper, and enough ink or toner installed.
    2. Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your Mac or iOS device.
    3. Make sure your printer has power and is turned on. Try turning your printer off and then back on again to see if it resolves the issue.
    4. Check to see if your printer has any error lights or indicators. Check the documentation that came with your printer to clear any errors displayed.
    5. Check with your printer's manufacturer to see if any firmware updates are available for your printer. Check your printer's documentation or contact the printer vendor for more information. A firmware update may be available, even if you just bought your printer.

    Take care,

    -Norm G.

Thank you for your reply Norm.  I have gone through all of the general troubleshooting steps that is not my connectivity issue. However I can through troubleshooting realize the problem is my computer bumps out my iPhone for some reason when the computer is on and connected to the printer my iPhone cannot print byt when I shut down the computer I can print using air print.  Do you know how I would resolve this problem?
