Quoted from Apple's "How to write a good question"
To help other members answer your question, give as many details as you can.
- Include your product name and specs such as processor speed, memory, and storage capacity. Please do not include your Serial Number, IMEI, MEID, or other personal information.
- Provide the version numbers of your operating system and relevant applications, for example "iOS 6.0.3" or "iPhoto 9.1.2".
- Describe the problem, and include any details about what seems to cause it.
- List any troubleshooting steps you've already tried, or temporary fixes you've discovered.
also, wi-fi routers and ISPs can have Parental Controls as well as devices' OSes and software(s)

You notice that I didn't come right out and ask for the site? although that would really help in determining the "Level" or "Rating" that is being blocked

Feb 22, 2015 9:04 PM in response to ChitlinsCCby llneeners,I have a macbook pro, OsX10.9.5, 2.5 GHz, 4 GB
I am not tech savy.
The website I was trying to access is Zulilly (online clothing, etc.)
I have accessed this website always. Just a few days ago.
I am the only one who uses this computer and I am long past parental control days.
It wants me to enable the website by putting in my apple ID

Feb 22, 2015 11:28 PM in response to llneenersby babowa,This might be a scam attempt as any online vendor should never ask for your Apple ID unless you are doing business with Apple. their site might have been hacked. I would try to contact them a different way and inform them of the problem.

Feb 23, 2015 7:09 AM in response to llneenersby ChitlinsCC,★HelpfulFirst, you need to be sure that you have not inadvertently enabled Parental Controls > OS X Mavericks: Set up parental controls
I doubt this very much that this is PC doing this and AGREE with babowa that this site MAY have been hacked at one time.
I did not have ANY problems with Zulily.com - other than being FORCED to Register before I could enter past the Splash Screen
This website is RATED by reviews VERY Low + <300 UNresolved complaints > zulily.p***edconsumer.com
which makes me leery of their willingness and/or ability to protect themselves much less the consumer from nefarious characters.
My advice is to find another online store for your clothing needs, and be done with it.
I will ask our guru regarding The Safe Mac - thomas_r. - to take a look at this thread and put in his 2¢ on whether or not you have any "infection" on your Mac.

Have you checked to see if Parental Controls has somehow been enabled? What do you see when you open the Parental Controls panel in System Preferences?

Can you provide a screenshot of the exact message? Make a screenshot by following the directions here:

Be sure no sensitive personal information is displayed. To add that image to a post here, click the camera icon in the post editor toolbar, or just drag the image file into the post editor.
Off the top of my head, my guess would be that you have iCloud Keychain turned on, and have saved a password for the Zulilly site. This would result in a prompt for your iCloud/Apple ID password, so the password could be auto-filled in the login form. See:
Frequently asked questions about iCloud Keychain - Apple Support

Feb 23, 2015 9:46 AM in response to llneenersby ChitlinsCC,★Helpfulthomas_r. makes us think outside the box sometimes... It never occurred to me that this could be TWO things happening coincidentally at the same time (PC pref setting & iCloud-KeyChain) - I guess I am not a big believer in coincidence, but these two are certainly able to account for the facts that you state.
You might also think back to before this started and come up with something you may have done with some setting somewhere or some software install/upgrade/update you may have done or allowed. My experience is that there is always a preceding cause (or causES ) for a misbehavior.
