cannot sync ipod

I'm having issues synchonizing my ipod touch (latest gen.) I tried to add a couple of hundred new songs. When I click on synchronize, it only completes 3 steps of 4. It then gets stuck on step four with the message: "wating for changes to be applied". I tried power cycling both my macbook pro & ipod. Nothing seems to work. Help will be deeple appreciated.

Hi,

Are you syncing over wifi or using USB? The latter is probably more reliable.

Also, in the sidebar under Summary/ Options select "sync only checked songs and videos" then go to Music and check the Sync Music box and choose "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres." Then check the songs you want to sync.

However, if you have other songs already there and they are not checked, they will be removed, so be careful. Also, "waiting for changes to be applied" can take a while, so give it time.
