Q: Camera issue for iPhone 6 (help) IOS 8 or recent iOS update

So you know how you swipe up to unlock the camera feature when the iPhone is locked right? Well, I have that feature and it worked for a little. Then, when i swipe up, a black screen shows and nothing else happens. When i push the home button it goes back to its locked screen(where it shows "swipe to unlock"). I only used the swipe up for camera for a little and now when i use it, a black screen shows up. So i need your help. I looked up online for this problem but there's no results of what i am looking for. I have an iPhone 6 and its working fine, but just the camera swipe thing on the locked screen has been a problem for me. im tired of unlocking my screen swiping the the camera app. I just need to find out how to fix this.

I understand that when you try to use the Camera shortcut on your iPhone’s lock screen, the display only shows black. In this situation, even though the Camera application works normally from your Home screen, I would suggest working through the steps located in the attached article.

Get help with the camera on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

You see a closed lens or black screen
If you see a closed lens or black screen when you open the Camera app, try these steps:
Make sure that there’s nothing blocking the camera lens. If you’re using a case, try removing it.
Force the app to close, then open the Camera app again.
Restart your device, then open the Camera app again.
If your device has a front and rear camera, try both cameras by tapping (camera swap icon). If you see the closed lens or black screen on only one camera, take your device to an Apple Retail Store or Authorized Service Provider for more help.

Try Step 2 (close all apps). I find when I have many apps open, it will 'hang' at a black or shutter screen.
