can you bookmark a place in a video or audio to find later?

iis it possible to bookmark a specific place within a video or audio file. I've only thought of and used Bookmarks to save a URL of the address of the file location, but I am watching a long TV movie on my iPad using the NBC app and need to note several places within the movie to inform my project partner quickly. Instead of noting the for example the time code and then fast forwarding to these spots.

Perhaps said better, is there a way to "micro bookmark" within a file. This really speed up points of interest like when doing research. Being able to name, sort, communicate (text or email) and sync these spots to all iOS and OS X devices like we can with URL Bookmarking would be incredibly helpful!

i guess this would be similar to bookmarking a page in an iBook.

possible?

Thanks!

What do you mean by "Does NOT mention this ability at all"? Are you talking about app description? The fact that it's not mentioned in the app description does not mean that the app lacks that functionality. You can create a note while watching a video for the first time. Then you can go to notebook associated with that video and find all notes you've taken. By tapping a note you will be taken to media playback screen and playback will start from that exact note's timestamp. I think that this type of functionality allows for the app to be used as video bookmarking tool.
