Apple TV not responding

Restored my Apple TV through iTunes on my computer, replaced battery in remote, unplugged Apple TV to reset several times. Light comes on on Apple TV. Still not responding to remote commands.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
