Quicktime 7.7.6 not play h264 / M - PEG4 AVG

Good morning,

I have a video encoded in h264 / MPEG-4 AVG and when I open it with quicktime file is opened but quicktime 7.7.6 displays black screen for the duration of the video.

On my machine I installed the full version and the DIVX codec is installed.

The machine is a windows 7 pro i7 8gb ram

i understand you are having trouble with a video encoded in h264. You can downlowd a H.264 sample clip from the following article and isolate the issue to QuickTime or the clip.
