Q: can't access apple loops in logic pro x

Hi

help!!!!!

can't seem to be able to access the apple loops in the loops library...

when i open the loop library there is nothing showing at all;;

and if i play a keyboard while in that window every thing flashes like theres a bug in the system...

i have tried re booting..

the thing is if i log in to my sons account on the same mac every thing is there in logic..

any one???

After you install LPX, you have to go to the Logic Pro X application window, and "Download Additional Content".

Hi
Sorry for not making that clear
But I have been using LPX for the last year or so...
All additional content have been installed...
All was working perfectly until this morning...
I went to export a region into the loop library...
And "bang" it happened when I went to look in the loop window
The loop just created along with all other loops...which I use all the time had disappeared......
Any ideas..???.

Try Re-Indexing the loop browser etc:

Logic Pro X, GarageBand for Mac (v10.0): Reindex to fix issues with Apple Loops - Apple Support

Hi I've included a screenshot of the loop library///
seems to be void of loops altogether...
when i went back to the mac after your reply ..i installed additional contents ...which included apple loops...
after which i rebooted the mac ..but still nothing..
any ideas??

I have the exact same issue. I've tried everything:
-Clicking "reindex all loops"
-Deleting the index files
-Reinstalling
-Dragging and dropping the loops into the loop window
-Setting up new user with permissions in the folder "get info" section
Nothing seems to work.

Seems to be a common problem online with no solutions...
Ever find an answer to this?

This is typically caused by a permissions related issue.....

To test, create a new Admin User Account in Sys Pref's Users and Groups... Log out of your current account and into the new account..and then launch Logic Pro X... Check if you need to download the content again but usually reindexing loops then works correctly.
