Some users are seeing old files on our server that have been overwritten.

OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

Mac Mini Server (Late 2012)

Server 4.0.3

I have a handful of users that are seeing old versions of a file after it has been replaced on the shared RAID volume

on our graphics server.

Procedure:

Graphics group posts a PDF proof on server for customer service to send out to customer for softproofing.

Customer reviews and sends revisions.

Graphics group makes revisions and posts new PDF on server, replacing the old version.

Problem:

Customer service opens revised PDF to review all changes before sending out to customer, and sees that

no changes have been made.

Customer service calls graphics group and advises that changes have not been made.

Graphic artist opens pdf file and confirms that changes have in fact been made.

IT becomes involved.

Support tech confirms that there is only 1 file on the server and that the Date Modified is 9:25 a.m.

However, on all computers in graphics group, the file is correct. On all computers in customer service, the

corrections are not there.

Graphics artist emails file directly to customer service, and there is no problem.

Any advice is truly appreciated.
