I Pad air home button isn't working, on my sons I iPad there is the click when you press it and it takes you to home, on mine no click and can't get to home page. Help! I think maybe it's been dropped but no child is confessing

It sounds like your Home button on the iPad is not functioning as it should. I would recommend using the troubleshooting for it in the following article:
If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond or doesn't turn on
If none of it works, there is a link to help you determine your service options at the bottom. In the mean time, you can also setup Assistive Touch on the device to have an onscreen Home Button to use:
