My name is displaying differently in different areas

I went to enrol in iOS so I can publish apps, but it is displaying my 'legal' name wrong. Note I did change it in the past.

It then asks "To edit your name, visit My Apple ID", but when I attempt to edit my name, it is actually displaying my new name.

eg. Signing up for developer my name is John Smith, but I want it to be Jonathan Smithson.

Go to edit profile

Profile states my name is already Jonathan Smithson.

Anyone have any thoughts on the situation?

This is beyond we users to address. You need > Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security > talk to an Apple Employee. - ÇÇÇ
