Cleaning up iMovie after project complete

Hi all

I've noticed that iMovie, over time, accumulates quite a bit of junk data from the projects you work on. The junk data are the clip strips and poster frames that iMovie keeps in its file repository. These files show you pictorial representations of each clip from your Camera Roll that you can add to your project.

But even if you delete the photos or videos from your Camera Roll after completing a project and exporting it, this data remains in iMovie, and over time, it can add a lot of bloat to the app.

Apple should have some way of cleaning up this unreferenced data after the project is deleted from iMovie. As it stands, you have to delete the app and reinstall it to clean up this data, as there is no Apple-approved way of dealing with this issue.
