Feb 23, 2015 7:27 PM in response to LSaulterby End_of_Line,A lot of times this is an idiosyncrasy of Bluetooth. One device is the 'master' (likely your Mac) and the other the 'slave' (your iPhone). You must turn on Bluetooth in the appropriate order for them to make a connection. If turning on the Bluetooth for your Mac, and then your iPhone doesn't work, then turn BT off on both devices, and try it the other way around (e.g., turn on BT for your iPhone first, then your Mac).
