Is it possible to subscribe to itunes match by using 10$ with gift card and 14.99$ with credit card ?

However, my question is more about the payment method. I already have 10$ credit in my itunes store account and a valid credit card registered, and i would like to subscribe to iTunes match.
Do I have the possibility to use my 10$ credit and to pay the 14.99$ with the credit card ?
From, "You can use store credit to pay for your iTunes Match subscription; however, you must have a valid payment method on file at the time of sign up," my understanding is you can use partial credit as you would if you bought anything for which there was insufficient store credit.. However, I have not done so and if you want a "Yes, I have done it," answer you may have to wait a while.
I've made a call to apple.
They have confirmed that my 10$ credit will be automatically used and only the remaining amount will be charged on my credit card. They also said that the store credit is always used primarily, regardless of the purchase made.
