No. Worst thing you can do.
No. Very often business suggests you use certain facilities for their system. You can always ask if there is an opt out. I recently challenged Norton in another thread after they had made some wild statements but they have failed to take it up. Enough said.
12759 ~ Welcome to the Support Communities. You can read about the security features of iOS devices in the following links:
http://www.apple.com/ios/what-is/
...That link says: "...hardware and firmware features are designed to protect against malware and viruses..."
http://www.apple.com/iphone/business/it/security.html
http://images.apple.com/business/docs/iOS_Security_Guide_Oct_2014.pdf
...That link says: "...users can access these apps on their iOS devices without undue fear of viruses, malware, or unauthorized attacks. (...) For third-party apps, the combination of required code signing, sandboxing, and entitlements gives users solid protection against viruses, malware, and other exploits that compromise the security of other platforms. The App Store submission process works to further shield users from these risks by reviewing every iOS app before it’s made available for sale."
My cent: Norton is no good on any equipment even Windows equipment.
But on Apple equipment no AV is needed, and all cause issues by interfering with the built-in security.
(and greetings to my young friend seventyone).

the biggest security thing you need for online banking on and iPad is to do it in the right place....as in on a secure internet connection and not at your local coffee shop.
If your wifi at home is password protected (and if it's not it should be) do your banking there, not at starbucks or mcdonalds or even work.
Hi there !
Do you use Norton's identity safe app to save your login information ?
Thanks!

My advice would be to avoid any Norton product for use with a Mac. As I mentioned, I challenged Norton in the copy post below to the same (Alibash) contributor. Now, two weeks later, it remains without a reply.

***** "We (that is, almost all of us helping on the forums) tend to believe there are no viruses currently running that affect Macs ... but ... if you know different and can point to a virus that affects Macs that Norton has found, please tell us."
There's a suspicious silence from the Norton camp. *****
Enough said, I think.
I don't even recommend Norton for PC people. I've found it to be a program as difficult to uninstall as the viruses they proport to protect against and the last time I used it many years ago they sent my rebate in the form of a gift card that came with a list of tings to opt out from to activate it....basically they sold my info to a third party who issued the gift cards....I'm supposed to trust the company that sold my info to protect my info?
Quite correct, as SeventyOne (and me) said. Norton was acceptedly good 15 years ago, but has grown into a monster that is devouring a PC, let alone Mac. It is impossible to uninstall completely on a PC, let alone on a Mac. but luckily it can be immobilized. On a Mac every AV "on access" app is counterproductive.
