Q: my wifi suffers intermitent very slow connectivity

Hi,

in an office environment my wifi can be relatively unresponsive  for lengthy periods subsequent to which all is well.

Others in the office with similar Retina MacBook Pro machines have the same problem, but those with older macs don't. Even if they are running same operating system.

(OsX Yosemite 10.10.2)

In a home environment everything is fine.
