Uploading imagery

I am considering buying the following camera which apparently has been discontinued but is still available Its design ,toughness and dustproof features being particularly attractive to me.However reading on of the reviews below the buyer stated that she was " very disappointed that you cannot upload direct from the camera to a PC (and internet) as I used to with a previous camcorder" Would i be correct in assuming the uploading would be done via a smart card ? Thanks
