Q: why is itunes crashing when syncing iPad/iPhone in Windows 7?

When syncing my iPad/iPhone via iTunes using Windows 7 Professions (SP1)... iTunes crashes repeatedly. I get the error message: "iTunes has stopped working." This just started. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, Windows 7, Win7 Pro, SP1
