I have an imac G4 3.3 that is currently running Darwin 7.9.0 Mac OS x 10.3.9 how do I upgrade, what will this computer support?

I think I need to upgrade the software as using the internet is awful as none of the browsers support the version I have now.

Here are the specs of my machine:

IMac Power Pc G4 3.3

CPU speed 1 GHZ

L2 Cache 256kb

Memory 256MB

Bus speed 167 MHZ

Darwin 7.9.0

mac OS X 10.3.9

What OS could I upgrade to and how do I install a new version over the old one?

That computer can be upgraded to Mac OS X 10.5.8, but you should install more RAM in it prior to upgrading the OS. Note that Mac OS X 10.5.8 is still too old to run a modern version of most web browsers.
