changed email password for security through hotmail online now i can't send mails from my phone or ipad

before you ask me if i have deleted the accounts on my devices - yes i have - repeatedly


i changed to password originally from my phone due to security but had the problem so i logged on to my mails through the website. before i did this i deleted the email acc from iPhone, iPad and mac changed the password on the site and then reapplied the account to each device - still can't send mails. argh! please help

I Don't know what you mean by reapplied the account to each device - you added them on the device themselves or you tried syncing the settings from iTunes. In any event, you are saying that you cannot send emails, so I will assume that you can receive emails. If my assumption is correct, that sometimes indicates that the username and password are not set correctly - if at all - in the outgoing mail server settings. So you might want to check in you


Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
