Q: New screen-sharing within two functions- new & unwanted....

iOS 8.1.3 - During Safari use, when I landscape screen, unwanted Favorites tab appears & covers 1/2 screen.

- During email use, the same behavior occurs with the list of emails taking 1/2 screen and open email using the other 1/2.

How how can I control this - turn off & on ?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.1.3

    I don't have a 6 Plus but the same behavior happens with an iPad mini. For the favorites, you should just be able to click the icon that looks like an open book. That toggles the favorites, reading list, and shared links side bar. I don't know if you can change how email is displayed. I can't find any way to change it on an iPad mini.

    Thank you. Pressing the open book icon located at the left end of the address bar - top of display - indeed removed the split screen   !!

    IF I figure out a fix for the email screen, I'll put it here....

    Does anyone already know how?

    Okay. In email - pull (swipe) down TWICE on the full email (right) side of the display.

    This reveals the shrink:expand arrows.

    Expand & the email message fills the screen.
