Scanning issue - plugin needed

Hello, I am using a web page that will allow me to scan documents and upload to the website. I get the message, "need plugin to view content." This web page will work only in Firefox or IE, according to the instructions, needs SSL and 128 bit browser encryption. Using Fire Fox in Snow Leopard.

Would appreciate any feedback! thanks!

I am replying to my own question because I did not see an edit function once it was posted. Wanted to include this it may be a clue as to what is going on.

The screen stays static, says checking, but nothing is happening.
