iphone 6 plus screen is black

My iPhone 6 plus screen is not working. I don't think it is the actual screen that is broken though because the apple logo shows up and the lock screen does show up for a few seconds. why is the problem happening and how do I fix ix? (I have done a hard rest multiple times, the buttons are responsive as well as the screen itself, i can type in my password and it will vibrate indicating that I got it wrong) iPhone 6 Plus IOS 8.1.2

Hello xavierbohan,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Since you have already reset your device in attempt to resolve the issue where your iPhone's screen is black, the next step is to restore the device to its factory defaults.

If you see a solid color screen (black, white or blue)

  1. Plug in your device to a power source. If you see the low-battery screen when you plug in, let your device charge for at least 10 minutes (20 minutes for iPad) before using it.
  2. Reset your device while it's plugged in.
  3. If resetting doesn’t fix the issue, restore your device.
  4. If you still see the issue after you restore, contact Apple Support.
