Do I get 5 GB of free storage for each device
We have 2 iPads and 1 iPhone in our household. Both iPads use iCloud backup, but we don't have the iPhone set up for that yet. We have 2 GB on 1 ipad & 2.4 GB on the other. However, the ipad that has 2.4 GB of data on it says it hasn't been backed up since 2/14/15 because there isn't enough storage without upgrading my plan. It says it needs another 2.8 GB of storage to do the back up. That doesn't make any sense to me. First of all, I thought you got 5GB of free storage for each device you back up on iCloud, and even if it's for my entire household, 2 + 2.4 = 4.4 which is still less than 5GB of free storage. I tried deleting all of the unimportant stuff off of that iPad & I even flipped the switches to "off" on a lot of the apps to prevent them from being backed up which I don't think I should have to do. I had this same problem before on the other iPad before Christmas, but I don't recall doing anything special to get the backups working again. I know I did an iOS update but that shouldn't have anything to do with my icloud problem, right? Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong, because apparently I'm not smart enough to add to 5. Thank you! Leslie
