the top case of my macbook is crack and i wanted to know if i can change it, they told me that apple has guarantee for that kind of stuff, but i bought mine in 2010 so its been a while, i dont know if it stills covers the repair.

Sure you can change keyboard Ebay or Amazon both have new & used starting around $44.00 you need a spunger and really small phillips head and u may want to watch a how to video but it's not hard at all good luck
If your Macbook is a 2010 model it's a uni body design, replacing the top case requires COMPLETE disassembly and is a difficult repair. Unless you're skilled at this kind of repair you might be better off taking it to an Apple Store or AASP.
