impossible to see ip-adress video/cam in chrome/opera/safari/etc...

hello to community !

my problem is quite complicated...

my cam program ip-control-video works under (i.explorer) under (xp windows).

it uses "WEBService" with login-program but !

it doesn't work under MAc OsX Yosemite version 10.10.2

just because it works with a ActiveX and only under i.e....

please help me....

just to precise, i am able to see the program under mac but no to logg in because there is bug, i need to install "webrec.bat" but under i.e

i see ipadress is ok

No it's not. You would need a Mac version of the camera control software.

Templeton Peck please, re-read my post before posting something mistaken,

My DVR works.

Model is : http://www.etwinternational.fr/2-5-2-standalone-dvr-4956.html

To connect under windows xp : internet explorer.

Under Internet explorer : ActiveX => WebService :

this service doesn't exist under macOsX.

I DO NOT NEED ANY PROGRAM TO SEE MY DVR !

only i need to resolve my problem under chrome/opera/firefox/safari to see somethingelse that :

it seems to be bugged....or blocked.

activeX controls only work on Windows, nothing else. Therefore wihtout installing Windows, you will not be able to accomplish what you want.

Yes..that's exactly what I mean..if the sites require ActiveX controls.

you're jocking....

No I'm not "joking." ActiveX controls are proprietary to Microsoft, and only run on Internet Explorer, which in turn only runs on Windows.

You can dislike that answer all you like, but it won't change reality.

ok, but in you position, i just think you blocked on the fact that it's impossible to see if i need activeX.....ok !

i just ask my question in another way :

- do you believe its possible to watch my dvr with login page ?

- do you believe it's possible to watch my dvr on internet, under mac ?

- what is the difference between windows and yosemite ????? i tell you : 1500 euros of difference... you know...
