Q: Storage Problems
Does anyone know what is causing this?
When i go to "About This Mac" and than click "Storage" it shows me this:

It says that apps are taking up 113.65 GB on my MacBook Air, but i only have a maximum of 59.44 and it says i have 38.7 GB free.
I don't know if this is simply a visual bug with the current version of Yosemite or if it's something else, but i would like to fix it if possible.
MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Re-index Macintosh HD.
Spotlight reindexing will take a while to finish.
System Preferences > Spotlight > Privacy
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2409
You will see a new category “Other” in the Storage Display.
About “Other”:

Note:
If you don’t have Macintosh HD icon on the desktop,
Finder > Preferences > General > Show these items on the desktop:
Enable “Hard disks”.
