Feb 25, 2015 6:05 AM in response to mariotheplumberby Limnos,Upgrading iTunes means iTunes updates the library file and before doing so it makes a copy with a date. It does not use that file and usually it is in a previous iTunes Libraries folder.

Feb 25, 2015 6:30 AM in response to Limnosby mariotheplumber,Thanks for reply. Not helpful though.
I've removed all the previous library files - so it can't be accessing those.
If the .itl file and other are removed and deleted - each time iTunes is opened it recreates the files with the same incorrect date. If those files are missing when iTunes opens it recreates them, so it must make use of them.
Thanks again

Feb 25, 2015 6:48 AM in response to mariotheplumberby Limnos,Could you please tell us exactly what the file names are you are seeing? "Associated files" isn't telling me enough. Perhaps also tell me what you mean when you say re-create the library. This has a very specific meaning with iTunes.
