Numbers -Color Fill for cells -choices?

Hi Peter,

I reluctantly upgraded to Yosemite and now my old Numbers does not work.

Numbers '09 is now in iWork '09 folder within your Applications folder.

Wayne Contello has written a User Tip for working with the old and new versions of iWork.

Need newer version of Numbers to open file

In Numbers 3, click on the Colour wheel to bring up the glorious Colour panel:

Command shift c will toggle that colour panel.

Saved colours to reuse. The artist's palette 🙂. Drag a colour to a box to save it. Drag a box to a cell. The palette survives in all documents.

The color wheel could be placed on the Toolbar:

Menu > View > Customize Toolbar
