Why can't I submit the feed? Error Msg: "Podcast cover art must be at least 1400 X 1400 pixel JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests.

We are setting up a new podcast feed, we've tested it and it works fine. But when we submit the new podcast to iTunes, we get the same "Podcast cover art must be at least 1400 X 1400 pixel JPG or PNG, in RGB color space, and hosted on a server that allows HTTP head requests." error message.

I've read through a bunch of forums, but can't see what we're doing wrong.

Wordpress strikes again. Your feed isn't constructed as an iTunes-compliant feed. It does not have the 'iTunes declaration' in the second tag and has no 'itunes:...' tags such as subtitle, summary etc. With no 'itunes:image' tag your feed has no image iTunes can read and thus your feed will be rejected.

I can't advise on Wordpress, but I get the impression that it will not create a compliant feed. You may have to use the Blubrry PowerPress plugin or go through Feedburner and use its 'Smartcast' facility.
