How do you create the symbol for a repeating decimal in pages please? We use pages 09 at school.

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Hmmmm...

Go figure. I'll try again. I couldn't get it to work. So I found the combining over line in special characters. 6̅6̅ Eureka!

Type a single 6 and then add the special character by double clicking on it. Repeat.

I even thought maybe changing the baseline would work. Maybe a text box with ___ and the 66 under it and then changing the spacing of the text box so it looks like a repeating decimal.

And I think I'd have to use a text box so I didn't change the spacing on the whole document…..

Just looking for an easy way for 8 and 9 year olds to do it for their science fair projects….

Sigh.
