Infected

Hello Community,

I have a Macbook Air that is infected at Safari with links all over web pages I search. The links direct me to click and install software ("Clean and repair Windows Errors" "image". There are also many links popping up of advertisments. Can't get rid of them. Can you help?

MacBook, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), Air

Please review the options below to determine which method is best to remove the Adware installed on your computer.

The Easy, safe, effective method:

If you are comfortable doing manual file removals use the somewhat more difficult method:

Also read the articles below to be more prepared for the next time there is an issue on your computer.
