My friend has an android phone and I wanted to face time his iPad but when i added his email to his contact details, it still wont let me face time or iMessage him. I need help because i really want to be able to iMessage him and face time him.

Your friend needs to configure his iPad to use FaceTime and iMessage. There's nothing you can do on your end.
What does he need to do?
