Is there an app to control Keynote, other than Keynote?

I want use my iPhone to control a Keynote presentation that's running on my ipad. The old "Keynote Remote" app seems to no longer work and the recommended solution seems to be to run Keynote on my iPhone. But that's 580 MB! Oink!

Is there a lighter weight app for the iPhone that can control Keynote on an iPad (or Mac)?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

I don't think so. I just did an AppStore search and didn't find anything definite. I was thinking all you'd need is something that would pretend to be a Bluetooth device, but I couldn't make the presentation advance with a Bluetooth keyboard I paired with it.
