I am trying to select multiple photos in iCloud without having to click on each photo individually. Is there a way to do so?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
If you need to select multiple items on iCloud.com then you can use the common procedure to select multiple items by either holding Command or Shift on your keyboard.
To select multiple files or folders, hold down the Command (⌘) key, then click the items.
To select multiple files or folders that are listed together, click the first item you want to select, hold down the Shift key, then click the last item.

The only difference between paid and unpaid is the storage size, nothing else at all.
If you want full functionality (the way a normal app should work- like the ability to use the shift key) then you have to pay to upgrade your storage.

Was referring to iCloud.com. We don't have the option to 'drag' (it was there 1+ year ago) and now it's not... 😕
Yup, photos on the web is not much use, that is why I use a different platform.

ummm... that's not the stated purpose of this community, and as noted, prohibited from debate here.
This does not make sense. I can't even download multiple photos in the Photos app on my Mac. I love the MacBook...but hate everything else about Apple. This is not a security issue
This is so frustrating!! Apple just wants to sell some iCloud space by this fatally bad functionality.
This problem has been so long, that I will vote by my legs after having 3 iPhones.
